Dave Cantin Group Revives Stalled Dealership Sale, Unlocks 30% Higher Value for Hello Auto Group
New York – March 19, 2026 – Dave Cantin Group (DCG), a premier automotive mergers and acquisitions advisory firm, revived a stalled sale process for one of Hello Auto Group’s Valencia, California dealerships. By leveraging its deep industry knowledge and extensive network, DCG helped the group achieve a 30% higher transaction value, delivering a successful outcome for all parties involved.
Chris Hemmersmeier, President and CEO of Jerry Seiner Dealerships, acquired Hello Subaru of Valencia, now Jerry Seiner Subaru, in a deal finalized on March 16.
Initially, Hello Auto Group was unable to finalize the deal through its sell-side broker. After turning to DCG’s Alex Covino, a trusted long-time partner, Hello Auto Group was able to connect with the right buyer and close the transaction with impressive results. DCG’s targeted outreach and deep regional connections were instrumental in ensuring a smooth, high-value deal.
“I’m incredibly grateful for Alex Covino and the entire Dave Cantin Group team for their role in closing the Hello Auto Group sale,” said Karl Schmidt, Founder and President of Hello Auto Group. “Alex’s responsiveness, professionalism, and creative approach were key in getting the deals over the line. His balanced approach, focused on fairness to both sides, was refreshing, and I’d gladly work with DCG again.”
“We invest in our clients’ success. That means having real-time market knowledge and the ability to identify not just any buyer, but the right buyer,” said Dave Cantin, CEO of DCG. “This deal demonstrates how DCG’s strategic outreach, industry partnerships, and diplomatic communication can improve both deal certainty and value.”
