MTADA’s 112th Annual Convention to Bring Montana Dealers Together for AI Education, Industry Insights, and Networking

BUTTE, MONTANA—The Montana Automobile Dealers Association (MTADA) will welcome dealers, industry leaders, and trusted partners to its 112th Annual Convention, taking place August 13–16, 2026, at the Copper King Hotel & Convention Center in Butte, Montana.

This year’s convention will focus on social media strategy, artificial intelligence, and emerging automotive retail technologies. Through educational sessions, dealer discussions, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain practical insights designed to help their dealerships remain competitive in a rapidly changing marketplace.

The convention kicks off Thursday evening with an opening party at Metals Sports Bar. Friday’s program will feature a hands-on artificial intelligence session led by Todd Smith of Qore AI, followed by a dealers-only meeting, exhibitor event, and dinner.

Saturday’s educational program will bring together automotive industry experts, including Dan Ingber of the National Automobile Dealers Association, Katie Naughton of Drive Her Forward, Michele Wright of Cox Automotive, Owen Moon of Dealer Stream, and Miranda Pyette of Purpose Automotive. Sessions will address industry developments, technology solutions, dealership opportunities, and strategies for future growth.

The convention will conclude Sunday with breakfast and an optional Pipestone side-by-side ride.

Throughout the three-day gathering, Montana dealers will have opportunities to exchange ideas, strengthen relationships with fellow automotive professionals, and connect with companies that provide services and solutions to the retail automotive industry.
